PALAZZO DE CASTRO DEI CONTI DI LEMOS
A noble residence built in 1795 by the Counts of Lemos, descendants of the Viceroys of Naples (who were responsible for the construction of the Royal Palace of Naples by order of King Philip III of Spain), Palazzo De Castro welcomes its guests into a magical period atmosphere.
The Palace is located between the two main squares of Squinzano, a village in the Valle della Cupa, gateway to Salento and the first town in the province of Lecce, just a few kilometers from the province of Brindisi.
Passing through the original entrance portal, one steps into the past: a spacious atrium with original stone flooring welcomes guests, while at its center stands the family’s five-towered coat of arms, flanked by evocative period staircases leading to the upper floor.

The spacious rooms, featuring painted vaulted ceilings and elegantly furnished interiors, allow guests to relive the emotion of a stay rich in history. Finely hand-embroidered bed linens, an expression of local craftsmanship, embrace the traveler’s rest.
An elegant fireplace dominates the grand salon, a space made available to guests for convivial gatherings.
